We’re proud to be sponsoring 2025’s Rising Star Awards

We are honoured to be sponsoring WeAreTheCity‘s Rising Star Awards as it enters its 11th year. These unique awards have celebrated over 1,000 women since they began.

Lee has personally been on this journey having been a nominee in 2021, awardee in 2022, and judge in 2023 and 2024. So it feels like we’re continuing the evolution by sponsoring the awards this year.

The Rising Star awards were started to celebrate female talent and leadership below senior management or director level. There are so many women doing incredible things in their early careers and we’re here to celebrate them.

We would like to encourage male allies to put their allyship into action and nominate their female colleagues. If there’s someone in your workplace or industry who has incredible passion, drive and innovation – nominate them!

Show them how valued their input has been and how important their work is.

Nominations are open until the 3rd of March and you can submit your nominations here.

The awards celebrate women across a number of industry categories, as well as an organisation that has a proven commitment to supporting their female talent, and a senior man who is championing gender balance through his work.

You can find more information about the awards, timeline, and how to apply on their Rising Star Awards webpage.

Who do you know who deserves to be a:

⭐Rising star individual
A female individual who works within one of the categories whose current position is below director level.

⭐ Rising star champion
A senior individual of any gender who is championing gender equality either inside or outside their organisation.

⭐ Rising star company
A company that clearly articulates their commitment to supporting their female talent pipeline.

⭐ Rising star men for gender balance
A senior man who is championing women and gender balance either inside or outside their organisation.

⭐Rising star global award for achievement
A female individual from outside the UK, across any industry, whose current position is below director level.

Women have always been far less likely to nominate themselves for an award. But Lee can confirm, from being a judge for two years, that it’s hugely encouraged for women to put themselves forward.

Think about your achievements over your career, talk to a colleague or mentor if you need a sounding board, and back yourself. Your achievements deserve recognition!

Make sure to hit the button below and get nominating before the 3rd of March. We can’t wait to see the breadth of talent across this year’s nominees.
